The 175th Infantry Regiment celebrates 249 years of history, serving in nine separate global conflicts and countless national emergencies, including the Battle of Brooklyn and the Maryland 400.

MARYLAND 400
Outnumbered five to one, the Maryland 400 defeated the British Army at the Battle of Brooklyn on August 27th, 1776, defending our nation. It was this battle in which Maryland would earn the name "Old Line State".
