On 16 September 2022, COL(Ret) Robert Finn was brevetted to Brigadier General (Maryland) for his outstanding military service, and continued commitment to soldiers and veterans while serving as Deputy Secretary Department of Veterans Affairs for the State of Maryland.
MG Timothy Gowen the Adjutant General presided over the event held at the Annapolis Armory with many friends and family in attendance.
As a member of the 175th Infantry Association, BG(MD) Finn continues to support the organization and has provided information on veterans benefits to the members.
