The MDNG sent Soldiers to Region 2's MAC competition, which is a regional competition which puts Soldiers service M4 rifle and M17 pistol skills to the test. The 4-day competition is designed to showcase Soldier skills, allowing the skills to be brought back to individual units, increasing lethality and effectiveness.
Targets would be presented anywhere from 15 yards to 400 yards, with a variety of time restrictions, obstacles, and stress induction.
The 175th Regiment Association is a 501c3 non-profit comprised of both current and former members of the Regiment. The Association was stood up to assist past and present members of the 175th Regiment by connecting veterans and Service Members with needed resources, funding unit activities geared towards building esprit de corps, and providing a sense of community and belonging while keeping the traditions and history alive.
